LAPL Branch Celebrates New Year with a Lineup of Engaging Activities and STAR Readers
As the new year has begun, – The Donald Kaufman – Brentwood Branch Library is thrilled to welcome back all its STAR readers and announce another vibrant week filled with engaging programs. The Library now has five STAR volunteers gathered throughout 2023. A huge thanks to Marie, Bonnie, Camille, Farnaz, and our newest volunteer, Alicia, for all of their work promoting literacy and bringing joy to our children’s area.
A highlight worth noting is this Saturday’s “Get Ready for Kindergarten” program. Tailored for ages 3-5, this storytime initiative is dedicated to school readiness, aligning with LAPL’s broader mission to prepare our little ones for the educational journey. The theme for this session is “Body and Brain,” featuring captivating book readings and a collaborative activity at the end.
