By Dolores Quintana
The Donald Bruce Kaufman – Brentwood Branch Library has announced its exciting events scheduled for July 10-13. From engaging activities for toddlers to stimulating crafts for kids, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
On Wednesday, July 12, the library has planned two engaging events. Starting at 10:30 am, the “Toddler/Preschool Storytime” will captivate young imaginations with engaging stories and interactive storytelling techniques. Later in the day, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., STAR Reader Bonnie will be present at the library. Children are encouraged to join her and embark on a reading adventure.
Bringing the excitement to Thursday, July 13, the library will host STAR Reader Camille from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Camille will be available to share stories and encourage young readers to explore the joys of literature.
For adults and seniors, you can join Doug Frankel as he discusses the extraordinary effect of meditation to reduce stress-related responses, improve concentration, and enhance clarity of thought and mental equilibrium. He will also present a simple and powerful meditation technique that can enrich one’s life personally, professionally, and spiritually. No advance registration is required for this class on July 15 at 2:00 p.m.
All events will be held at The Donald Bruce Kaufman – Brentwood Branch Library at 11820 San Vicente Boulevard. Pre-registration is not required, and attendance is free for all participants. For further information and any updates, visit the library’s website or contact the library directly.
