It’s no secret that one of Southern California’s most elite new restaurants, Tavern, took over the failing former Hamburger Hamlet site in Brentwood where Brentwood residents Tom Hanks and Stephen Spielberg recently hosted a $35,000 a plate fund-raising dinner for President Barack Obama. Brentwood is home to CBS chief, Leslie Moonves, Disneyland’s boss, Robert Iger, Ari Emanuel, a leader at the William Morris talent agency, major producer, Joel Silver…and the list goes on and on.

Visitors to the Brentwood Country Mart can see Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston and many otheMarilyn Monroer former Beverly Hills celebrities on most days at the mart. Tavern owners, Carolyn Styne and her partner, chef Suzanne Goin, knew all about this new found popularity when they made a major investment in their Brentwood Tavern.
