Hear from the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) provide the latest information about the recent Getty Fire at the upcoming Brentwood Community Council (BCC) meeting Wednesday evening.
Held from 7-9 p.m. at the Brentwood Public Library, Wednesday’s BCC meeting will be the first of 2020.
First on the agenda is a 10-minute presentation from LAFD Chief Armando Hogan on the Getty Fire, which burned over 700 acres, forced evacuations for many Brentwood residents and destroyed or damaged 27 homes in the burn zone.
Also on the agenda is a Brentwood crime update from Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Senior Lead Officer Matt Kirk, updates from elected officials and information about the Ready Your LA Neighborhood program.
Looking ahead, at the February BCC meeting hear from the City of LA Planning Department on the Brentwood Community Plan Update and in March Los Angeles City Controller Ron Galperin will be at the meeting to answer questions.
