Gun Brandished in Dispute at Brentwood Hotel

Brentwood Crime Update

Among recent Brentwood crimes include a dispute at a local hotel in which a gun was pulled amid a verbal dispute.

Burglary: 

07-24-21 2130 Hrs, 1600 Block of San Remo Drive, Susp(s) smashed side window of residence and fled location when alarm sounded. Victim was home but did not see the susp(s). No property taken.

07-24-21 1600 Hrs/ 07-25-21 2000 Hrs, Susp(s) smashed second story balcony window and entered the location. Susp(s) ransacked numerous rooms in the home but no property was taken.

ADW (Assault With Deadly Weapon): 

07-25-21 0200 Hrs, 170 N. Church Lane (Hotel Angeleno), Suspect and victims were involved in a verbal dispute near the valet area of the hotel. The suspect went back to his vehicle and retrieved a handgun and threatened the victims while holding the handgun. Suspect was arrested, and the gun was recovered inside the suspect’s vehicle. All involved were guests at the hotel.

GTA (Grand Theft Auto):

07-20-21 1800 Hrs/ 07-21-21 0900 Hrs, 12200 Block of Gorham Ave, 2005 Chevy Van was taken from the street.

Theft:   

07-25-21 1450 Hrs, 11600 Block of San Vicenete Blvd, suspects #1 and #2 entered the store and began looking around. Suspects gestured for a 3rd suspect to enter the location. Suspect # 3 asked the employee about a product in the back of the store. While employee was distracted the female suspect was scene on video placing perfume under her dress into pockets. All the suspects then left the location without paying for the perfume. 

07-18-21 1800 Hrs/ 07-25-21 0600 Hrs, 11800 Block of Darlington Ave, Susp(s) entered subterranean parking garage by unknown means. Once inside the garage the susp(s) cut off lock and removed bike.
