Gwyneth Paltrow has opened her first permanent store around her lifestyle brand – Goop – and it’s right here in Brentwood at the Brentwood Country Mart.
The 1,300 square foot store – known as Goop Lab – was opened by Paltrow in conjunction with designers Roman and Williams.
The official launch party was held on Sept 15. Among those who were on hand for the opening were Paltrow’s boyfriend Brad Falchuk, and Demi Moore, Molly Sims, Edgar Ramirez, Rachel Zoe, Jennifer Meyer and Christian Louboutin.
Paltrow told Architectural Digest, “It’s fitting that Goop Lab is in the Brentwood Country Mart, which has been a part of my life since I was a child. Goop Lab’s space even occupies part of the candy store I used to walk to.”
Goop Lab has the look and feel of a Brentwood bungalow with each room having its own distinct feeling.
Paltrow added, “We see the store as an extension of Goop HQ. You’ll see our food editor cooking in the kitchen at events or our beauty buyers trying out the in-store beauty services.”
