Burglary and Theft
Between February 9 11 p.m. and February 10-22 7 a.m., 100 Block of Barrington Avenue. Suspect(s) smashed front door of business and ransacked the location. Suspect(s) removed property and fled the location. Property taken was a cash register containing U.S. currency.
February 10 2:40 a.m., 11600 Block of Chayote Street. Suspect(s) used sledge hammer to smash glass door of business. Suspect(s) ransacked location and removed property. Property taken was jewelry.
Between February 10 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., 2200 Block of Canyonback Road. Suspect(s) entered residence through unlocked rear window. Suspect(s) removed property and fled the location. Property taken was a safe containing jewelry and a handgun.
Between February 10 2:30 p.m. and February 13-22 8 a.m., 13000 Block of Rivers Road. Suspect(s) smashed rear French door to gain entry into residence. Suspect(s) ransacked master bedroom closets and removed property. Property taken was jewelry and an iPad.
Between February 13 2 p.m. and February 14 11 p.m., 1700 Block of Westridge Road. Suspect(s) entered the location through kitchen window. Once inside the suspect(s) removed property and fled out back door. Property taken was jewelry and handbags.
February 13 6:50 p.m., 100 Block of Bristol Avenue. Suspect(s) attempted to pry open first floor window when the alarm sounded. Suspect(s) fled without gaining entry into the location.
Assault With Deadly Weapon
February 12 1:30 a.m., Wilshire Boulevard/ Wellesley Avenue. Suspects got in verbal dispute with victim who was sleeping on the street. Suspect shot victim while he was inside his sleeping bag. Suspect shot approx. 3 more shot that shattered the window of the veterinary clinic. Suspects fled in black Range Rover. The victim didn’t sustain any injuries.
