Whether you were a faithful Golden Girls fan and never missed an episode, or you simply caught occasional reruns, one thing that can’t be denied is the elegance of the appearance of beloved character Blanch Deveraux’s mid-century home.
Though fictionally located in Miami Florida, the 2,901 square-foot, four-bedroom home is actually located at 245 N Saltair Ave in Los Angeles, California.
The manor is listed for a mere $2,999,000 through Douglas Elliman real estate.
This is the first time the home has been placed on the market and is exciting for many people.
Though technically the inside rooms were never viewed on Golden girls episodes, it is a part of television history.
The home does have a 50s exterior with an array of palm plants, but the interior features several modern upgrades with Japanaese and Hawaiian influences. In fact though made to look like a Miami luxury home, the property was actually constructed in 1955 and custom built by a Hawaiian architect as a tribute to relatives.
