33 firefighters put out Sunday fire

33 LAFD firefighters put out a fire that broke out in a Brentwood apartment fire over the weekend.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), on January 3 around 2 a.m. crews responded to a two story, garden style apartment building with fire in one unit on the 2nd floor at 11727 W Kiowa Avenue.
33 firefighters extinguished the fire in 20 minutes with no injuries reported. According to the LAFD, the fire was contained to one vacant unit.
The cause and monetary loss of the fire are TBD, the Department says.
