A grass fire broke out in Brentwood this week near Barrington Park.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), the blaze was reported around 12:50 p.m. at 11601 Terryhill Place, just off Barrington Avenue.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a small (approximately 100′ x 50′) area of fire in heavy brush and trees, according to LAFD Spokesperson Margaret Stewart. The fire was contained to the brush as crews defended a home with an exposed wooden deck.
It took 32 firefighters just under one hour to extinguish the fire.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
