LAFD crews hoisted a mountain biker to safety in a remote section of Mandeville Canyon over the weekend.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), 03:25 p.m. the incident was reported on Sunday in the area of 3387 Mandeville Canyon Road.
LAFD Air Operations located an injured cyclist in a remote area, required an airship hoist and air transport to an area hospital, the LAFD reported, adding a rescuer was lowered to initiate patient care and secure the patient for transport, who had suffered a non-life-threatening injury.
