35-year-old woman in serious condition following Saturday crash

Over the weekend, the LAFD rescued a woman who’s vehicle had fallen 100 feet off Mulholland Drive in Beverly Crest.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), the incident was reported on Saturday around 5 p.m. at 8543 Mulholland Drive in Beverly Crest.
LAFD crews arrived at the scene to find a passenger vehicle that had fallen off a 100 foot cliff. Firefighters located the 35 year old female patient who had suffered serious injuries. Due to the severity of the injuries, LAFD Air Ops conducted a hoist operation and transported the patient to a local hospital in serious condition.
Following the rescue, firefighters worked to stabilize the vehicle, which was leaning unstably against a tree.
Mulholland Drive was shut down between Laurel Canyon to Coldwater Canyon due to the incident.
