Burglary
11-19-21 1500 Hrs/ 11-20-21 0500 Hrs, 11900 Block of San Vicente (commercial), Susp(s) smashed front door and entered business. Once inside the Susp(s) ransacked front desk area and fled location without any property.
BFMV (Burglary from motor vehicle)/ TFMV (Theft from motor Vehicle)
11-16-21 2000 Hrs/ 11-1 1000 Hrs, 11800 Block of Dorothy St, Susp(s) entered vehicle by unknown means and removed property. Vehicle was parked in a carport and the property taken was laptop, U.S. currency and electronic meters/scopes.
Remember DO NOT leave key fobs in your vehicle. Most new cars will not allow you to lock your car with the key fob inside. Also, please don’t leave valuables inside your vehicle, especially if they are visible from outside the vehicle. Are car parked in a secure parking garage does not make it immune from being broken into.
GTA (Grand Theft Auto)
11-21-21 0020 Hrs/ 11-21-21 1630 Hrs, 1200 Granville Ave, Vehicle taken was a 2022 Hyundai Sedan from a parking lot.
Please don’t leave your car unlocked and most importantly NEVER leave your keys in the car. This makes it way too easy for thieves and they will continue to target the area if the opportunities a readily available.
