The LAFD airlifted a mountain biker to safety following a crash in a remote area of Mandeville Canyon recently.
According to the LAFD, on April 16 around 5:30 p.m. a mountain bike fall resulted in injuries to an approximately 30-year-old male in a remote area of Mandeville Canyon.
“LAFD Air Ops dropped off firefighter-paramedics to assess/treat the patient and prepare them for transport,” the LAFD said.
The patient was taken to an area hospital by air in moderate condition.
