LAFD Responds to Major Accident with Multiple Casualties
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a multi-vehicle collision at 8808 Vista Del Mar on Tuesday at 7:54 p.m., resulting in at least five casualties, including one fatality.
Firefighters reported that two patients were extricated from the wreckage. A total of four patients were transported to local hospitals. Among the injured were an 18-year-old male, a 16-year-old male, an 18-year-old female, and a 30-year-old female.
Three of the patients are in critical condition, while one is in fair condition. The deceased individual, whose age and gender are currently unknown, remains inside one of the vehicles. The Los Angeles Police Department was also called in to investigate the accident.
The response included units from Fire Station 51, Battalion 4, and West Bureau from Council District 11. Nicholas Prange, LAFD public information officer released this information in a press release. No further information about the identities of the victims is known.
