A new slate of officers was unanimously elected to head up the BCC: Nancy Freedman, chair; Larry Watts, vice-chair; Mary Sidell, secretary; Bryan Gordon, treasurer; non-officio, Ike Cohen.
Once the vote was counted, Nancy Freedman, who was reelected to serve a second term, joked: “That’s very gratifying, my husband didn’t think I would win.†(She ran unopposed.)
Roz Gamble retired as BCC secretary and was given a plaque recognizing what all agree have been extraordinary efforts in recent years.
