Brentwood Green, the school/community park at < ?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Brentwood Science Magnet School, is pleased to announce that all the trees surrounding the school are available for adoption. Mature trees may be adopted for a one-time, tax-deductible gift of $2,000. Younger trees are available for $1,000. All the street trees on Bundy, Montana, Gretna Green, and San Vicente have identifying number labels. Select your favorite tree. Call 310/472-9775 to let us know which tree you have chosen and for further information. Once a tree is adopted, a permanent plaque recognizing the donor will be installed. Funds raised will be used for the maintenance of the trees and learning gardens at the school.< ?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
We encourage you to walk through Brentwood Green on a weekend or holiday. The campus is swarming with families, just as we had hoped. The jungle gyms are in full use. Families bring their lunches from the local Farmer’s Market on Gretna Green, and picnic in the Safran Family Primary Yard or relax in the gardens.
It is a thrill to the Brentwood Green committee to see the park being used for the purpose for which it was created.
