Fatal collision occurs near Brentwood over the weekend

One is dead after a driver possibly under the influence of alcohol traveled miles in the wrong direction on the 405 near Brentwood before crashing into another vehicle over the weekend.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash occurred on the 405 Freeway north of Getty Center Drive on Sunday around 2:30 a.m.
Authorities say a flat-bed truck traveled up to four miles the in wrong direction going southbound in the northbound lane before crashing into a Jaguar. The driver of the Jaguar died on the scene.
According to CHP, the truck driver was compliant with authorities and was transported to a local hospital for medical clearance.
The incident is still under investigation but authorities suspect alcohol may have played a factor.
