LAPD release Brentwood crime update

Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Senior Lead Officer Maria Gray has released new crime statistics for Brentwood, showing a 12 percent reduction in serious crimes overall.
“We are down 12 percent overall in total Part I crimes than at this point last year,” Gray said. “In fact, the entire West LA area is down by 11.6 percent overall. Please continue to stay vigilant and report suspicious activity.”
Part 1 crimes include offensives such as murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, motor vehicle theft and arson
