Alfred Coffee Shop introducing a plant-based alternative breakfast sandwich

Alfred Coffee Shop will now be offering a plant-based alternative breakfast sandwich for its coffee bar locations as reported by VegOut Magazine.com.
The highly popular coffee bar has decided to make its vegan, vegetarian and even its “vegan-curious” customers a priority by adding a new plant-based breakfast sandwich to its menu. Alfred is known for the quality of fine coffee drinks, pastries and influencer-ready store design. All 11 Alfred locations now have this new treat as of May 10. The Alfred Coffee Plant-Based Breakfast Sandwich or PBBS is a folded JUST egg, an Impossible Foods breakfast sausage patty and Violife cheddar cheese on a vegan soft potato bun. This sandwich is 100% vegan and is a permanent menu item that you can purchase for $10.00.
Director of Food & Beverage for Alfred Coffee, Jordan Hardin, said, as quoted by VegOut Magazine.com, “I’ve made it a long-standing priority to make sure every drink we offer can be made without animal products. Until not that long ago, the same didn’t hold true for classic cafe food options. That’s all changed, and creating our new Plant-Based Breakfast Sandwich was our way of proving that to customers, and welcoming them to the future. You don’t have to be vegan to enjoy this sandwich—you just might just be in the mood for something different. We think you’ll be blown away when you taste it!”
Dan Greene, SVP of US Sales at Impossible Foods, said, as quoted by VegOut Magazine, “Alfred is more than just a coffee shop—it has captured the zeitgeist of eating and drinking in the social media age. We’re thrilled to see Impossible Sausage made from plants on their menu, giving Alfred customers a taste of breakfast sausage while further cementing the cafe’s status as a trendsetter in the food and beverage scene,”
Alfred also has other vegan options available at their restaurants. You can find the Blueberry Coffee Cake, Blueberry Muffin, Chocolate Chunk Cookie, Chocolate Croissant, Classic Tea Scone, Morning Glory Muffin, Sundried Tomato Danish, Bagel with Plant-Based Cream Cheese, Avo Bagel, and VLT in the pastry case. All drinks can be made vegan by request and, in the grab and go case, you can find DEUX edible vegan cookie dough, Glonuts mini vegan donuts, and MUSH overnight oats.
