These webinars will take place:

Questions can be submitted using the platform’s chat feature for those watching on YouTube.
You can comment on the Los Angeles City Budget for 2023 to 2024 on Wednesday, May 17 by calling 1 (669) 254-5252 and entering Meeting ID No. 160 535 8466, followed by the # key according to CD 11 Councilmember Park’s newsletter. You can read the entire budget here or take a look at the budget summary here. Mayor Bass’ proposed budget is $13 billion dollars for the upcoming year. You can submit written comments here

Finally, you can comment on the proposed LA Metro Budget on Wednesday, May 17th, at 1:30 p.m. during a meeting to gather feedback on the proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2024. The meeting will take place in person in the board room on the third floor of Metro headquarters, at 1 Gateway Plaza, located adjacent to Union Station. For those who cannot attend in person, the hearing will be live-streamed, and a link to the stream will appear on the Metro website when the hearing begins.

The public hearing is an opportunity for community members to provide input on the budget before it goes to a vote at the Metro Board meeting on May 25th. You can find the instructions on how to leave public comments by phone here or send written comments via email to boardclerk@metro.net.
