San Vicente Road Work

From the Brentwood Community Council’s June 30 newsletter

The County of Los Angeles will begin regular maintenance work on San Vicente between Wilshire and Bringham sometime within the next 6 weeks. The maintenance will include lane restriping, including making the junction between the merging lane and parking lane more clear to drivers. Prior to the current homeless encampment utilizing the entirety of the sidewalk in this area, the parking lane on San Vicente between Wilshire & Bringham was used by patients and patrons visiting nearby medical buildings and businesses, as this section of San Vicente does not have parking meters. The photo below depicts the merging lane prior to the current encampment.
