Corsa Pro Coffee’s Brentwood Event: Where Coffee Meets Cycling
By Dolores Quintana
Corsa Pro Coffee, a Los Angeles-based coffee company founded out of a passion for cycling, travel, and specialty coffee, is excited to announce an exclusive in-store Farmshop event at their Brentwood location. Join them on Saturday, November 4th, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a delightful coffee-tasting experience.
The name “Corsa” was inspired by the rich history of Italian cyclery and reflects the diverse motivations for cycling, be it for sport, connecting with friends, or embarking on a personal journey of self-discovery. With over 20 years of experience in the cycling industry, founder Jaime De La Cruz knows that every journey, no matter how adventurous, commences with a great cup of coffee.
Corsa Pro Coffee proudly represents diversity since a woman owns 50% of the company and is also a 50% Latino-owned enterprise.
Their coffee is carefully sourced from farms in Central and South America and then expertly roasted right here in Los Angeles. From their Italian-inspired espresso roast to vibrant and well-balanced medium roasts, the company’s mission is to offer cyclists the highest quality coffee products from around the world. We are committed to sourcing our coffee sustainably and ethically through their partnership with Fincas Mierisch in Nicaragua and Honduras.
Fincas Mierisch, Corsa’s trusted partner, operates their farms with sustainability in mind, preserving the land and the habitat of the communities they serve. They are dedicated to promoting fair wages and empowering women within their workforce, with over 70% of their employees involved in every level of management, from farming to upper management. Furthermore, Fincas Mierisch supports the families of their workers by offering free childcare and access to education.
