19-year-old injured while biking Tuesday morning
A teenage mountain biker was airlifted to a local hospital after sustaining serious injuries on a Brentwood area trail.
On the afternoon of February 14th, 2023, at 12:44 PM, firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) rescued a 19-year-old mountain biker who had sustained serious injuries to his leg after a fall while biking near Mandeville Canyon.
The rescue was conducted by an aerial hoisting operation launched in response to a 9-1-1 call received at 12:17 PM. The patient was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
