Home Invasion Robbery Takes Place with Mother and Children in Home
Amid rising concerns in the Brentwood neighborhood about robberies and violence, a home invasion at a multimillion-dollar residence in Brentwood late night on Thursday, August 15, resulted in a huge response from local police and private security.
The incident occurred at about 11:00 p.m. in the 12800 block of San Vicente Boulevard. Three suspects broke into the home through a rear glass door, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. A woman and her young children were inside at the time.
The suspects, who were armed with a crowbar and dressed in masks and all-black clothing, confronted the woman in her bedroom. They allegedly threatened her and demanded property,
According to news reports, an LAPD helicopter was also observed circling overhead. No injuries were reported. The suspects remain at large, and the investigation is ongoing.
