Toscana Brentwood’s Inaugural Progressive Wine Dinner With Tensley Wines Announced

Unforgettable Evening of Wine and Gourmet Cuisine  in the Heart of Brentwood Gardens

Toscana Brentwood has announced its very first Progressive Wine Dinner, featuring the exquisite wines of Tensley Wines from Santa Barbara County. Renowned Winemaker Joey Tensley has recently unveiled a brand-new tasting room nestled on the ground floor of the Brentwood Gardens. This enchanting locale will serve as the starting point for a remarkable evening filled with culinary delights and superb wine.

The evening commences at the Tensley Tasting Room, where guests will be treated to a delectable array of hors d’oeuvres accompanied by the first glass of Tensley wine. Following this delightful prelude, guests will embark on a leisurely stroll up the street to Toscana’s Private Wine Cellar. There, a meticulously curated, multi-course feast awaits, courtesy of Executive Chef Miguel Martinez.

This much-anticipated wine dinner is scheduled for Thursday, October 26, at 6:00 p.m. – Tensley Tasting Room 11677 San Vicente Blvd. and then at 7:00 p.m. – Toscana’s Private Room 11633 San Vicente Blvd. In Toscana’s private room, guests will be able to enjoy this delightful menu crafted by Executive Chef Miguel Martinez:

Antipasti:

  • Arancini Zafferano
  • Bruschetta with Tomato, Basil, Garlic
  • Crostini with Chicken Liver
  • Paired with the 2022 Rose and 2022 Clairette Blanche

Insalate:

  • Stuffed Zucchini Flowers with burrata, ricotta, marinara
  • Beet Salad with red beets, goat cheese, walnuts, mixed greens, and lemon dressing
  • Accompanied by 2022 Clairette Blanche Martian Vineyard

Primi:

  • Spinach Gnudi with porcini mushrooms and shaved black truffle
  • Served with 2021 P2KV Zaca Mesa Vineyard GSM

SecondiI:

  • Brasato al Barolo – short ribs braised in red wine, served with soft polenta
  • Complemented by 2021 Colson Canyon Syrah and 2021 Tensley Vineyard Syrah

Dolce:

  • Millefoglie – “one thousand layers” of puff pastry with cream
  • Accompanied by Late Harvest Viognier (from Magnum)
