The Construction Will Continue Into Next Week, The Library Will Stay Open
By Dolores Quintana
Visitors planning to utilize the library over the next two weeks are advised of an unforeseen construction project affecting the primary entrance. The ongoing sidewalk construction directly in front of the library entrance necessitates a temporary adjustment in access routes. Maddy Gillette, Children’s Librarian at the Brentwood Branch Library, informed us of this information this week via email.
During this period, the sole entry point to the library will be through the parking lot located at the rear of the building. To access this entrance, patrons are directed to utilize the alleyway situated between Westgate and Gorham Avenue, extending behind the library.
An accompanying map has been provided, highlighting the alleyway and illustrating the alternative path to reach the library.
Unfortunately, the ongoing construction work leaves this modified entrance as the exclusive means of entry to the library. It is important to note that the library’s regular operational hours will be upheld during this period, and all scheduled programs will proceed as planned
