Kindergarten and CrEATive Eats Kids’ Cooking Class Highlight Upcoming Events
The Brentwood Library is set to host its third installment of the “Get Ready for Kindergarten” program this Saturday at 11 a.m., offering a combination of storytime and crafts to enhance school readiness for children aged 3 to 5.
Attendees can expect an engaging and educational experience tailored to prepare young learners for the transition to kindergarten.
In addition to this weekend’s event, the library has announced an exciting program for next month: the “CrEATive Eats Kids’ Cooking Class.” Slated for Saturday, May 11th at 11 a.m., this cooking class promises to be a fun-filled event where children aged 4 to 10 can learn to cook and create delicious dishes in a playful and interactive environment.
Due to the high demand and limited seating availability, advanced sign-up is required for the cooking class. We encourage interested participants to secure their spot as soon as possible by completing the sign-up form online or by visiting the library’s reference desk.
The library has also unveiled a lineup of activities for the upcoming week, including Brick-Building Playtime on Thursday, April 25th, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and STAR Reader Camille from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the same day. Additionally, the “Get Ready for Kindergarten” program will return on Saturday, April 27th at 11:00 a.m., offering another opportunity for young children to participate in this beneficial program.
