By Dolores Quintana

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is organizing a Women’s Health Virtual Town Hall on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 p.m. PT. The event, titled “VA Takes Pride in LGBTQ+ Care,” aims to provide LGBTQ-identifying Veterans with valuable information about healthcare and supportive services available through the VA.

During the virtual town hall, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the various resources and services tailored to meet the unique healthcare needs of LGBTQ+ individuals. The event aims to address any questions or concerns that LGBTQ-identifying Veterans may have regarding accessing care within the VA system.

The town hall will be held online, ensuring accessibility for all participants. Admission to the event is free of charge, making it an inclusive opportunity for LGBTQ-identifying Veterans to engage with VA representatives and gain valuable insights into available healthcare options.
