Vice President Kamala Harris is back in Brentwood for Easter weekend likely leading to some traffic disruptions.
The trip, first reported by the Los Angeles Times, will likely see tight security and potential traffic disruptions as Harris and husband Douglas Emhoff are expected to spend time with their family.
According to reports, the couple is expected to arrive Thursday and remain through Sunday. Harris will then travel to Oakland for an event Monday before returning to Brentwood Monday evening and heading back to the capitol on Tuesday.
This is Harris’ third visit to Brentwood since becoming Vice President, following a February weekend visit and an overnight stay in March following a trip to Las Vegas. None of these visits have included public events or appearances.
