West Hollywood Announces WeHo Pride Weekend Parking and Transportation Updates

Permit Parking Lifted, and Special Event Parking Rates for WeHo Pride Weekend

The City of West Hollywood is gearing up for WeHo Pride Weekend, which will take place from Friday, May 31, 2024, to Sunday, June 2, 2024, with important updates on parking and transportation for attendees.

During WeHo Pride Weekend, permit parking requirements will be lifted from Friday, May 31 at 4 p.m. until Monday, June 3 at 7 a.m. However, parking meters will be enforced throughout the weekend. Attendees are advised to observe the boundaries of West Hollywood and adhere to parking restrictions in the neighboring cities of Los Angeles and Beverly Hills.

Drivers should anticipate increased traffic and plan alternate routes due to street closures. Santa Monica Boulevard will be closed in both directions, with additional closures for the WeHo Pride Parade on Sunday, June 2. Limited access to cross Santa Monica Boulevard will be available for drivers.

Paid public parking near the festivities at West Hollywood Park will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Pacific Design Center (8687 Melrose Avenue), Kings Road Parking Structure (8383 Santa Monica Boulevard), and Hancock Parking Structure (901 Hancock Avenue). On Sunday, June 2, a special event rate of $20 will be charged at the Kings Road, Orange Grove, Queens, and Sunset parking garages/lots. Standard rates will apply at other times and locations.

The City will activate its free Pride Ride service, combining The PickUp and Cityline transit services. Pride Ride vehicles will operate along Santa Monica Boulevard from N. La Brea Avenue to N. Kings Road and to the Hollywood & Highland Metro Station. For schedule details, visit the WeHo Pride website.

WeHo Pride Weekend features a free street fair showcasing LGBTQ community groups, entertainment on two stages, informational and vendor booths, the Women’s Freedom Festival, the annual Dyke March, Friday Night at OUTLOUD, the ticketed OUTLOUD Music Festival, Summertramp stage, and the annual WeHo Pride Parade. Additional community programming continues throughout June, with the WeHo Pride Arts Festival from June 14 to 16.
