Year 3 CFCI Care Grants: Funding Opportunities Now Open for LA County Community Organizations

JCOD Launches Year 3 CFCI Care Grants For Community Empowerment

The Los Angeles County government has announced that The L.A. County Justice, Care, and Opportunities Department (JCOD) is pleased to announce the launch of the Year 3 funding opportunities for L.A. County’s Care First Community Investment (CFCI) Care Grant program. Community-based organizations with expertise and capacity in specified program areas are strongly encouraged to apply for these grants.

Additionally, webinars will be available to guide you through the application process.

Year 3 of the CFCI Care Grant offers funding opportunities in 25 different Program Areas, including:

  2. Holistic Out-of-School Time Enrichment/Youth Development for Reentry Youth
  3. Youth Academy/Pathways out of Poverty & Non-Carceral Diversion
  4. General Access to Funding for Small, Minority-Owned Businesses
  5. Resource Movement Center
  6. Youth Development and Diversion through Sport and Play
  7. American Indian Day Care & Family Resource Center
  8. Reentry Education and Career Development Training
  9. Community Farms
  10. A Better Tomorrow
  11. TGI Mentorship Project
  12. Youth Learning Community
  13. School-based Youth Development Support Service
  14. 24/7/365 Youth Center
  15. Community Mentoring Leaders Program and Community-based Juvenile Reentry
  16. Feeding the Unhoused
  17. Mommy Support
  18. Seeking Equity in Medicine
  19. Multicultural Diverse Intensive Outpatient Project
  20. Mommy Mentors
  21. Resources for Underserved Communities
  22. Healthcare Payment Assistance for Low-Income and Underserved Individuals
  23. Fresh Food
  24. Unhoused Youth Support
  25. Youth Programming in Communities of Color
