Violent Altercation Hospitalized Elderly Passenger
Los Angeles Police Department detectives from the Pacific-LAX Division have arrested two men involved in a road rage incident at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) that resulted in an elderly woman being knocked unconscious and hospitalized.
The assault occurred on May 31, 2024, at approximately 9:25 a.m. An elderly passenger was checking her baggage curbside at LAX when she was struck by two individuals who were engaged in a fistfight due to a road rage altercation. The altercation led to the individuals slamming into the woman, causing her to fall to the ground.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital, where she was admitted in critical condition. She has since been released from the hospital.
One of the suspects involved in the fight, seen shirtless in surveillance footage, turned himself in to the police and was arrested. The second suspect, Jasan Givens Sr., initially fled the scene but was later arrested on Friday morning. Givens faces charges of felony battery and is being held on $50,000 bail.
