Weekly Sessions Promote Early Literacy for Children, English Support for Adults
The Brentwood Donald Bruce Kaufman Library is introducing a new language learning program aimed at promoting literacy for both children and adults. The Caregiver & Kid Language Learning program will take place every Tuesday at 3 p.m. and will offer early language development for children through reading and play, as well as lessons and support for adults who are learning English as a second language.
The program is supported by a team of volunteers dedicated to helping both children and caregivers improve their language skills.
In addition, the library announced that its popular Storytime sessions will be on a short break and will resume on October 9.
