Brentwood Weekly Crime Report: November 17 through November 26, 2024

Senior Lead Officer Matthew Kirk has written a report of crimes committed in the Brentwood area between November 17 and November 26, 2024. In total, there were nine criminal incidents during the period between 

Burglary: 

  • November 21, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 11600 Block of Montana Avenue: Suspects forced open the front door of a townhome, ransacked the interior, and stole jewelry, U.S. currency, and handbags.
  • (Commercial) November 22, 8:00 p.m.–November 23, 9:30 a.m., 11700 Block of San Vicente Boulevard: Suspects broke a storefront window and took jewelry.

Robbery

  • None reported.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon (ADW)

  • None reported.

Burglary from Motor Vehicle (BFMV) / Theft from Motor Vehicle (TFMV)

  • November 18, 8:00 p.m.–November 19, 6:00 a.m., 800 Block of South Bundy Drive: Suspects smashed a passenger window in a parking garage and stole a backpack and a laptop.
  • November 18, 9:00 p.m.–November 19, 10:30 a.m., 11900 Block of Kiowa Avenue: Suspects accessed a vehicle by unknown means in an alley and stole audio equipment.
  • November 19, 3:00 a.m., 11900 Block of Gorham Avenue: Suspects smashed a window in a parking garage and stole tools.
  • November 19, 3:25 a.m., 800 Block of South Bundy Drive: Suspects smashed a vehicle window in a parking garage, but no property was taken.

Grand Theft Auto (GTA)

  • November 19, 5:30 p.m.–November 20, 7:50 a.m., 11700 Block of Goshen Avenue: A 2013 Hyundai was stolen from a parking garage.

Theft

  • November 16, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., 11600 Block of Gorham Avenue: Suspects cut a chain in a parking garage and stole a bicycle.
  • November 20, 4:30 p.m., 11700 Block of San Vicente Boulevard: While shopping, the victim’s phone was stolen from her purse by an unknown suspect.
