April 21, 2022 – Customers at Baltaire were surprised with a special and impromptu treat this weekend. Music legend Stevie Wonder stepped up to the mike and sang his classic song “You Are The Sunshine Of My Life” to the amazement of everyone in the room. Full article here.

Brentwood Restaurateurs to Be Honored at L.A. Food & Wine Gala

April 27, 2022 – The 33rd Annual Culinary Evening With the California Winemasters’ gala of food and wine has selected Kathie and Mike Gordon, the co-founders of Toscana Restaurant Group, as honorary chairpersons of the gala as reported by Patch.com. Their management released a statement that said, “Being named the honorary chairpersons for the 33rd Annual California Winemasters event was a humbling surprise, an unexpected, much-appreciated recognition for more than 30 years of dedication to the restaurant industry.” Full article here.

Brentwood Steakhouse Named One of Eight Best in United States

May 5, 2022 – Baltaire Steakhouse in Brentwood was named as one of the eight best steakhouses in the United States by Upscale Living.com. Full article here.

Brentwood-Adjacent Upper Crust Pizza Up and Running

September 28, 2022 – We reported back in June that Brentwood would be getting a new location of Upper Crust Pizzeria. That location is now officially open in Sawtelle at 11916 Wilshire Boulevard (just across the border for Brentwood)  and is doing well. Full article here.

Coral Tree Cafe Launches Wine Wednesdays

October 6, 2022 – The Coral Tree Cafe Brentwood restaurant will be launching Wine Wednesdays on their patio beginning October 12th. Wine Wednesdays will feature live music from guitarist and singer Bronsen Vidas from 6 to 8:30 for a limited time! Vidas will play a mix of contemporary favorites for your listening pleasure. Plant-Based Restaurant Coming to Brentwood

October 13, 2022 – The spaces at 11758 and 11754 San Vicente Boulevard in Brentwood have been empty since the restaurants Pizzicotto and Kreation closed down but there seems to be a new restaurant taking over both of the space. Full article here.

San Diego-Based Parakeet Cafe Opening Brentwood Restaurant

November 3, 2022 – Another new restaurant is coming to Brentwood at the Brentwood Town Center, this time it is a new location of Parakeet Cafe, a restaurant from San Diego as reported by What Now Los Angeles.  This will be the second Los Angeles location for Parakeet Cafe after they open a new Parakeet Cafe in Beverly Hills by the end of this year. Rent Hike Forces Beloved Brentwood Italian Restaurant to Close

November 9, 2022 – Vincenti Ristorante’s 25-year run in Brentwood has sadly come to an end as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. The restaurant was well-known and loved in the entertainment industry and many celebrities flocked to Vincenti’s during those two decades. Their regulars included Ted Danson, Harrison Ford, Frank Gehry, Diane Keaton and Rob Reiner according to The Hollywood Reporter. Full article here.

Pizzana Earns Michelin’s Bib Gourmand Award Again

December 14, 2022 – Pizzana, the immensely popular pizza restaurant, with locations in Brentwood and West Hollywood, just announced via Instagram post, that they have received Michelin’s Bib Gourmand Award for the third year in a row. Full article here.
